Ball Mill Barrel

In September 2010 Glasgow Engineering were invited to provide a quotation for the supply of a Ball Mill Barrel for Ecka Granules. Ecka Granules manufacture aluminium pastes and powders at their plant at Bell Bay in Tasmania’s north. The paste is used in Australia by manufacturers of aerated lightweight concrete. It is added to concrete slurry, where it reacts with the lime component to produce hydrogen gas bubbles, which aerate the mixture and cause it to rise like a soufflé. The final product has a far better strength-to-weight ratio than normal concrete, is easy to shape and is an excellent insulator.
