New Show Room and Sales Department

In December 1983 the building adjoining the main building next to the Army Barracks was purchased and new offices and showroom were opened. A sales division was formed and this provides spare parts and service requirements to our customers. Robert Cassidy managed the sales department for many years. He had started with the company as an apprentice fitter and turner. Robert was conscripted in to National Service during the years of the Vietnam War and on his return became the office and sales manager with the company. In 1996, Rob left Glasgow Engineering to follow his love of boats and pursue a career on the Tamar River. The showroom capably displays a wide range of engines and products available to customers.
