Southern Marine Ship Lift

From 1997 onwards, Glasgow Engineering have been supplying on site labour and undertaking work shop repairs for Southern Marine Ship Lift, the new owners of the Port of Launceston Authority’s Syncro Lift. Southern Marine Ship Lift is an Australian owned and operated docking and ship repairs facility, and is recognised as the largest of its kind in Tasmania. They expertly take care of everything from ship repairs and painting to cleaning and ship building at their modern and conveniently situated facility at Kings Wharf in Invermay.
