Temco Longtravel Gearbox

March 2011 Glasgow Engineering were asked to quote and supply a long travel gearbox for Temco. This gearbox is part of the overhead crane on the furnace floor at Bell Bay. The project was of great interest as it was fully fabricated and machined at the factory works. The gearbox reduction was 23.435:1
