Trading Ketches

During the 1950s ship repair work was a large part of the business at this time with regular maintenance being done on the Island Ketches such as the Margaret Thwaites, Leederry and the Shear Water. At the time these vessels were the only link to the Islands and the mainland for Tasmania.
